La Borne Renowned for its clay, the lovely village of la Borne accomodates about fifty potters. They regularly expose their works of art in the ceramics center of la Borne. Nearby you will find the creations of the artist Mr. Linard, the picture shows his cathedral made of mosaic. www.ceramiclaborne.org

Gardens Nearby there are all kinds of gardens you can visit, like the rose garden of Ainay le Vieil, Apremont with its beautiful English garden, the medieval garden of Orsan etc. www.Apremont-sur-Allier.com

Strolls The Countryside offers a lot of possibilities for nice strolls, like the famous fôret de Tronçais which is worth a visit, here you can walk around for hours (we have a walking map of the area with several trails.)

Markets During the summer don't miss the antique markets, mostly in the weekends. The villages nearby all have their local markets, Sancoins is known for its cattle market.

Bourges Julius César thought Bourges to be the most beautiful city of Gaul. The city is well known for its art and history. Bourges has the famous cathedral of Saint Etienne with its stained-glass windows. Bourges also has good restaurants and nice cafés/bars. www.Bourges.fr

Golf there are lots of opportunities to play golf near the Domaine (9 and 18 holes) All five golf courses are within 25-40 km of Chassy. The courses are usually not crowded, inexpensive and in most cases do not require a golf licence to play.
